Homeowner Instructions

As your licensed South Carolina property manager, we are responsible for your home, your guests, and how your rental is handled. That responsibility is defined under state law. However, today, on some bookings made through some online platforms, we do not always control the transaction—even though we are still responsible. That creates a gap where the person responsible for your property is not always the one in full control of the information and data.

HB 3876 is designed to fix that by protecting your investment, ensuring consistent management of your property, and keeps accountability with a licensed South Carolina professional.

You may see messaging that suggests this bill impacts homeowners. It does not. If you manage your own property, nothing changes.
